A conférence by Mr. Benjamin Mouton organised by ICOMOS

Message of Mr Jean-Sébastien Misson, Secretary General of Icomos Wallonie Bruxelles : As part of the next ICOMOS Wallonia-Brussels working day on the theme, “The Venice Charter today – visits, reflections and conference”, we have the pleasure and honour to close this day with a conference by Mr. Benjamin Mouton.

Chief Architect of Historic Monuments, Inspector General of Historic Monuments, Professor Emeritus of the École de Chaillot, former President of ICOMOS France (2000-2006), former Vice-President of ICOMOS International (2011-2014), former president of the Academy of Architecture (2005 to 2008), Benjamin Mouton will present to both the conclusions of the ICOMOS France survey “Return to the spirit of the Venice Charter” and his personal reflections of his long career, recently gathered in the book “Sense and renaissance of Heritage” (Éditions des Cendres, Paris, 2018).

The conference is free and open to everyone.
