... I have demonstrated and lectured internationally and have appeared in television programmes in connexion with my trade since 1974. I often contribute illustrated articles to the woodworking press and demonstrate to woodturning clubs and guilds.

I am a member of the AWGB, APLTGW, RPT and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Turners, City of London. 

I was born in the Buckinghamshire village of Holmer Green in 1942, and played as a child in the local Beech woods. The countryside and the trades and traditions of those that shaped it over centuries have always fascinated me and influenced my work....
